When I was younger, waffles were a rare and special treat—crispy, golden, and perfectly designed to hold every drop of syrup. But let’s be honest, the real star for me was always the maple syrup. Waffles were just a way to get as much syrup as possible on my plate, my hands, and my face.
That’s how I feel about my favourite Fajr Sister memories. Those early morning gatherings felt just as special—moments of sweetness that made waking up for Fajr something I looked forward to. I remember one session vividly, where we all sat together after prayer, sharing stories from the heart. We laughed, cried, and connected in ways that only sisters can, the warmth of sisterhood filling the room like syrup in every waffle pocket.
Each gathering was more than just learning or self-development—it was a reminder of the rare and beautiful bonds we were creating. Whether we were discussing how to better ourselves or simply enjoying the quiet morning together, those moments felt like a treat, something to savour. The sweetness of sisterhood, like that maple syrup, stuck with me long after the session ended.
To this day, I carry those memories with me, knowing they were something rare and precious, much like those waffles, but infinitely more fulfilling.
